Watch This! The new Blitzen Trapper Video! Black River Killer!

I did various things on this video including finding the river location and doing some still photography (which you can check out here). My glasses make an appearance on the lawyer in the court shot also.

I stumbled upon this as well which I found kinda interesting:

Support Blitzen Trapper, a bunch of swell dudes they are.

IM BACK + New Mix! YAY!

Ive been MIA for a long time, getting settled in the Pacific Northwest and trying to hold down employment.  My time hasnt been what it used to be, but I am back to my old mixtaping ways.  I may not update as regularly as before but I am not going to let this blog die.

This mix started with my roommate, Ryan, as inspiration.  He is a sweetheart and a Classic American Handsome Young Man.  His taste in music is very much rooted in Americana-related genres.  He also has an older black camaro with Georgia plates and a Guns N Roses sticker on the back of it. YES!  What a rad dude! Here is the tracklist:

RAY SARGE Issue #2

From the fuck thicket onward we stumble forward, aching longwise wondering, wandering toward what might look like we deserve it. What flies up in front of us? What smuggles its snout into us? What ignores our searching for IT, or, if not ignores seeks to smoosh it underfoot and mash it into bloody sustenance? There can be answers: and are.

---

Childhood is a piece of ground bathed in water, with little paper boats floating on it. Sometimes, the boats turn into scorpions. Then life dies, poisoned, from one moment to the next.
The poison is in each corolla, as the earth, is in the sun. At night, the earth is left to itself, but, happily, people are asleep. In their sleep, they are involnerable
The poison is the dream.
-- Edmond Jabès, The Book of Questions
